The purpose of our Sunday morning worship gatherings is to grow to become in every respect the mature body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-16 paints a beautiful picture of what we aim for as we gather as the body of Christ.
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
In order to do this well, we ask everyone to join us for the full two-hour gathering from 10am to noon. Our gatherings include fellowship, corporate prayer, Communion, singing, giving, studying God’s Word, discussion, and discipleship in smaller groups. In the new year, we’ll begin to read the Bible together as a church. As we gather on Sundays, the focus of the message and discussion will be around a passage/theme of the previous week’s reading.

We’re going through Bible Project’s video series: How to Read the Bible. This is preparing us to begin to read through the Bible together at the beginning of the year. Each week will include 1-2 episodes from the Bible Project, along with the study of a verse that correlates with the genre.
We’ll celebrate the Advent season together, which is a four-week period in the Christian
calendar that prepares people for Jesus Christ’s birth at Christmas, while also pointing ahead to His promised return. Each Sunday of the season we’ll spotlight a key theme—hope, peace, joy, or love—to invite reflection, prayer, and expectant celebration.
On January 1st, 2027, we’ll begin our journey of reading through the Bible as a church. We expect everyone in the church to be reading along, prioritizing daily time with the Lord in His Word. The focus for Sunday morning’s study will align with a passage/theme of the previous week’s Bible reading. We’ll be following the Bible Project’s reading plan called The One Story That Leads To Jesus.
